...Heh, just singing. Not like I CAN sing, but I like to.

Well, yesterday and the day before yesterday, I volunteered to rebuild houses for my community. Eight. Freakin'. Hours. 94 degrees.

It was worth it though, 'cause people sent us free FOOD! Not that I did it for the food, but y'know...food! Cake, cookies, ice cream, pizza and an a la carte sub sandwich line :)

So, I was asked where I wanted to go to college. My answer?

"...I'm almost sixteen, okay? I need to pass my driver's test, and get my learner's, let alone worry about college."

But still.......I would love to go to University of Miami. Gramps went there, my dad got ACCEPTED BUT DIDN'T GO AND WENT TO SOME RANDOM UNIVERSITY IN ILLINOIS. *great going, Dad* Plus, I like hot weather and I can NOT stand snow.

'Cause I was bored.

1. One book that changed your life?

I was really young, about 5. The first book I ever read was Are You My Mother? by Dr. Seuss. I had a speech disability and couldn't speak when I was at a age where children my age were babbling. But the day I read that book, I fell in love with reading and I was so happy when I could read it out loud.

By the way, I didn't grow out of my speech disability until second grade. Yup. Long time. However, my perceptive skills were way advanced for my age and could understand people better than children my age.

2. One book you have read more than once?

The View From Saturday by E.L. Konigsburg. It's a smart book, with four very complex individuals. It might be a little "unadvanced" (I know that's not a word) but I always learn something new everytime I read it.

3. One book you would want on a desert island?

Oh gee...umm...probably one of the Anne of Green Gables books by L.M. Montgomery. I have read every single one but I love 'em.

4. One book that made you laugh?

A Light in the Attic by Shel Silverstein. Y'know, the poet? Although the poems are childish, they make me laugh every time :)

5. One book that made you cry?

Charlotte's Web by E.W. White. Okay, so I was 10 when I read it, but animals dying always make me sad.

6. One book you wish had been written?

I think it would have been cool if Whisper of the Heart was a book. That movie was so good...a little sad but so good.

7. One book you wish had never been written?

The Giver by Lois Lowry. Lois, you are a great author but that book....eee...That society that Jonas was in was just creepy...

8. One book you are currently reading?

The End by Lemony Snicket ~~Daniel Handler~~ I love his grim humor and how he presents the story. It truly is a good read. The movie was terrible though. Very bad movie.

9. One book you have been meaning to read?

Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. I actually read it before but it was in 7th grade and I had a HORRIBLE English teacher who made my experience with the book stink. I'll try to give it another go though...just not right now XD

Being the child of a Catholic mother and a Jewish father, I too, celebrated Christmas even though my bat mitzvah was back in October.

I GOT PHOTOSHOP 5.0!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!! AND AN AWESOME DIGITAL CAMERA!!!

I also received POTC DMC the DVD (which came with the Pirate Songs Soundtrack. Sweet!), $55 worth of Best Buy giftcards, ASOUE The End (I love Lemony Snicket aka Daniel Handler), chocolate, Silly Putty (admit it, we secretly love Silly Putty deep down inside) and that's pretty much it.

My Dad and I did a mitzvah. We did Meals on Wheels and it felt good to give the less unfortunate Christmas dinner. I am glad I did it :)

Too bad Hanukkah is over though...until next year!

Well, sorry I've been AWOL. I loaned my digital camera to my aunt so I won't get it back for another week. I've had writers block for my fanfiction too :( So...yeah.

Let's see...

(no first period. Yay!)
Second Period: Gym
Third: Advanced Biology I
Fourth: Advanced World Literature
Fifth: Adv. World History I
Sixth: Spanish II
Seventh: Algebra I

Algebra I because I am a math retard. Well, okay, but math = not my strongest point.

I like Biology. And Literature is cool. I got the teacher who gives out no homework except for reading the book XD Yeah! Spanish II is okay, but me and two other girls are the only freshmen in that class. Everyone else is a sophmore!

I am NOT a gym person. I would rather read and write than shoot some hoops. I have NO HAND EYE COORDINATION whatsoever.

At least, the pep rallies are better than middle school. Louder, bigger and more people, but better nonetheless.

I have sinuses >:( It got worse on Saturday because I lost my voice! Friday was bad too, because my nose kept running (no pun intended) and had to smuggle tissues to other classes.

I just hope I get better.
